About the Course
In today’s world, music education often feels like a race driven by speed, efficiency, and marketability. Artists are taught to create with an external gaze, measuring success through trends, algorithms, and audience response.
But music is also an inner practice
It lives in quiet moments, raw emotions, untamed ideas, and the deeply personal spaces that cannot be optimised or rushed.
Sound Art Experiential Learning (SAEL) exists to reclaim that space.
This course is built on a few core beliefs:

Over the years, I’ve seen many artists become technically capable yet creatively disconnected. SAEL was created for those who want more than proficiency for those who want their music to resonate not only with listeners, but with their own inner truth.

Ishan Gaur
Ishan is an Indian multimedia artist whose work blends music and visual storytelling. His sound is deeply influenced by fantasy literature and spans genres like Techno, Electro, IDM, Electronica, and Ambient.
In 2021, he founded Safar Collective, a boundary-pushing artistic community that champions experimental self-expression. With over 10+ years in the industry and 5+ years of teaching experience, Ishan has mentored students worldwide, helping them refine their craft while staying true to their authentic artistic voice.
