About the Course
SAEL is not just a music production course — it is a deeper engagement with sound, listening, and self-expression.
In a landscape where music is often shaped by speed, trends, and external validation, this course offers a different approach. It invites you to slow down, listen inward, and build a more meaningful relationship with the music you create.
Using Ableton Live as our primary tool, you’ll learn the fundamentals of production — sound design, arrangement, and mixing — while also exploring how ideas emerge, evolve, and take form through personal experience.
The course balances technical understanding with creative inquiry, encouraging you to move beyond replication and towards developing your own voice.
Working in small studio batches, you’ll engage in guided exercises, listening sessions, and hands-on practice — gradually building a workflow that feels intuitive and your own.
By the end of the course, you won’t just know how to produce music — you’ll begin to understand why you create, and how to shape sound with intention and clarity.
